The administration
department, under the leadership of Executive Director Ron Mitchum, is
responsible for the day-to-day operations of the
Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments.
The administration
department provides administrative and technical services needed to
maintain the BCD Council of Governments and its regional planning
processes. Responsibilities include staff support to the
Board and
its committees
as well as activities such as: support for special projects and
studies, and other general agency administration, including
administrative support to the Executive Director.

The Finance Department
provides internal fiscal support for all of the BCDCOG's activities.
Budgets, contracts, receipts and disbursements, financial reports,
purchasing, employee benefits, insurance and agency audits are all
functions of the departments.
In addition, the department provide financial management to Tri-County
Link and the Lake Marion Regional Water Authority.
